FEATURED SPEAKER: Anthony Kassekert, Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) at the FDIC Office of the Inspector General
Bio:
Tony Kassekert is currently the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) at the FDIC Office of the Inspector General where he focuses on supporting audits and criminal investigations of bank fraud. He was previously the first CDAO of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and before that spent over 10 years as a data analyst at DHS. While at DHS, Tony was the primary statistician for all agency budget forecasting (consisting of roughly 200 time series models), building machine learning models to predict immigration fraud (mostly XGBoost), and was the branch chief over all verification services. Tony has also been an adjunct professor in the George Washington University where he teaches intro to probability theory and mathematical statistics and the machine learning in R classes.
