Stadium and Large-Venue Security
The CCICADA research consortium is a national leader in the research and development of advanced tools & technologies to protect patrons at sports stadiums and other large venues from terrorist attacks and other threats. CCICADA researchers employ advanced mathematics, data analytics and computer modeling to predict and manage crowd movements in and out of these venues. The center has worked with eight professional sports teams, the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC, and many other venues to advance its research. Read the stories below to learn more.
