Report on the State of Cyber Security Education in the US

Cyber Security Education Report Delivered to Cyber Division of DHS

What is the current state of cyber security education and training at all levels of society, whether in universities, the private sector, government agencies, or even preschool? What is and should be done to train the next generation of cyber security experts in this country? CCICADA prepared its Report on Cyber Security Education Project at the request of the US Department of Homeland Security to answer these and other questions. The center delivered the report to the Cyber Security Division (CSD) of the DHS Science & Technology Directorate in June 2014. It explores what is currently being done in cyber-security education and training and recommends further research to help DHS meet its cyber-security education responsibilities.
